Greetings visitor! My name is Peter. I will be your sports ferry across the chasm of the mundane experience you may call life. If you’re reading this, then you are probably bored and looking for something to spice up your afternoon, evening or weekend. After all, most people don’t look for information about curling, horseshoes, or squash because they need new reading material. At the least, you might have seen curling on television during the Winter Olympics and had no idea what was going on. That’s totally fine.

Up until a few years ago, I never played any of these games either. It’s somewhat of a shame that I didn’t get turned onto curling or squash earlier, because the competition can’t be that steep right? All kidding aside, it is a shame that more people don’t get out and enjoy alternative sports. It’s better than watching TV or playing games on an iPad.

My experience? I researched curling after the last Winter Olympic Games, and played horseshoes at a bachelor party once. As for squash, I encouraged my dad to take it up because he didn’t feel like he could run up and down the basketball court anymore with the youngsters at the gym. I’ve since played many times, though I’m not a regular player. And horseshoes have become a lot more common at family cookouts during the summer.

So if you’re looking for something different and fun to do, look no further.
